I started working in boarding kennels over 25 years ago learning both the boarding and grooming trades. Along the way, I taught dog training classes, worked in pet stores, managed a 5 groomer shop, was a vet tech for a 4 veterinarian practice, managed a pet supply store , helped with nutritional advice and behavioral issues, did rescue, raised and showed dogs, and had other pet related hobbies and trades. 14 years ago , I started my own successful boarding and grooming kennel in NC. We closed and sold that business to move out into the country and have a more rural farm life here in MO. I continue to be active in rescue and breeding , raising mostly Keeshonds and German Shepherds with an occasional other breed. I love dogs and it is so hard to settle on just one type!! I have decided I miss meeting clients and their pets, so once again we are opening a pet boarding facility.
